Why take the ISPI™? What does it do for you?

Let's begin with the big picture. Innovation is the one thing that secures the future of any organization. And innovation takes place along a continuum that runs from everyday improvements also called "Continuous Improvement" on the one end to Revolutionary (disruptive) innovation also called "Breakthrough Innovation" on the other end.

And what does it take to innovate? In a word, people. People, working effectively in concert with others, innovate. But what kinds of people? Did you know that some people actually "prefer" to work on Continuous Improvement projects while others truly prefer to work on Breakthrough Innovation? Not only are people different in the way they approach coming up with ideas, they also have very different approaches to taking risk as well as the processes they use when creating something new.

There's no question that people's skills, experiences and expertise matter to the innovation process. We can see these things rather easily. But their internal predisposition toward one kind of innovation vs. another is often invisible to others. And it matters more than you’d think.

ISPI™ Feedback

Each user of the ISPI™ will gain access to their personal ISPI™ Portal where they can view and print a PDF of their ISPI™ Feedback Book as well as watch a three part ISPI™ Feedback Video module.

The ISPI™ is taken online at a secure website. It consists of 50 questions and should take 15 to 20 minutes to complete. You can take the ISPI™ as an individual or you can create an organizational/team specific database.
